Via Colori Street Painting Festival

This weekend we visited Downtown Fredericksburg, VA, and the Via Colori.

Via Colori is a street painting festival held for the last three years in Fredericksburg.  Various artists painted murals, portraits, fantasy scenes and more along the downtown streets while at the same time raising money for charity.

  1. What a great event to get some colorful pictures! I really like the low angle of the chalk laying on the street and the hands coming out of the gutter for the ice cream bar. The girl laying on the street next to her dog is cool, too. I assume she was one of the artists with chalk covered feet.

  2. It looks like a fun way to spend the day. My fav is the 3D castle.
