Ocean Beach -31 Hours in San Diego Part I

I recently spent a really short 31 hours in San Diego.  I like to make the most of the opportunity to travel and this trip was no exception.  Although I squeezed in some work and a couple hours of sleep, I took hundreds of photos all over the city, mostly at the beaches, Old Town San Diego and the Presidio.   I plan to put pics up in a series of albums to keep from causing anyone to get bored with photo overload!

I'm very happy with the results and I hope you enjoy them too....

This first series of photos are from the cliffs of Ocean Beach.

  1. Whats the deal with the beach-graffiti? Is it in sand or stone? Love the Jonathan Livingston Seagull shot.

  2. The graffiti was carved into the sandstone with a screwdriver. The screwdriver was conveniently left behind for all to use. Californians are helpful like that.
